Rams Have Touched Base With Stefen Wisniewski

According to tweets by St. Louis Post-Dispatch writer Jim Thomas @jthom1 the Rams have reached out to free agent center  Stefen Wisniewski. (Thomas tweeted "Steve" referring to Wisniewski's none-time Pro Bolwer Steve.

Nonethess, Wisniewski would a more than ample replacement for the just released Wells. The Rams centers, as of now, are Barrett Jones and Demetrius Rhaney. 

According to one professional scouting service, Wisniewski and size, strength and youth on his side, but needs to work on his position-specific skills to be a top center in the NFL. He was also rated higher in 2013 than 2014. However, with the teaching skills of Rams offensive line coach Paul Boudreau it would make sense that Wisniewski's craft would improve.

Wisniewski is a free agent, but will not be re-signed by the Oakland Raiders, who signed Chiefs starting center Rodney Hudson for five years.
